Horticulture Team Member (Qualified)
Workforce International are working on behalf of their client in the ACT who are dedicated to enhancing and maintaining vibrant green spaces that enrich the local communities. We are looking for a passionate and qualified Horticulture Team Member to join their team and contribute to their vision.
Primary Responsibilities as a Horticulture Team Member, you will:
- Perform open space maintenance, including turf care, weeding, spraying, machinery upkeep, pruning, planting, watering, and irrigation maintenance.
- Establish and maintain garden beds, ensuring they thrive year-round.
- Carry out routine maintenance of parks and gardens.
- Operate and maintain various horticultural machinery safely and professionally.
- Respond to ad hoc client requests with a proactive approach.
- Promote a "one company" culture, taking responsibility for your role within the team.
- Adhere to safety processes, procedures, SWMS, and SOPs to ensure the highest safety standards.
Skills/Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Heavy Rigid Driver’s Licence.
Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent.
Chemical Certificate.
Traffic Management Certification.
Embrace and demonstrate the Company Code of Conduct and values in all interactions.
Actively participate in the digital transformation by effectively using tools and technology such as KRONOS, ALIS, MYOSH, QIN, and Dropbox.
Be adaptable and willing to take on additional duties as required.
