Primary Responsibilities:

 MAIN TASKS

• Weed identification and weed control.
• Daily productivity.
• Operate and maintain various horticultural machinery in a safe and professional manner.
• Handling of herbicide and pesticide products.
• Accountable for carrying out duties, having regard for the safety of self, colleagues and the general public along with the safe and appropriate use of all relevant plant and equipment.
• Conduct inspections of completed jobs.
• Fit in with other crews to be as productive as possible.
• Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Actively participate in the development of a culture, based around values of teamwork, collaboration and respect.
• Support a "one company" approach.

Skills, Attributes and Education:

• General Safety Induction (white card equivalent).
• Manual driver’s license
• Current licenses and certificates required for all vehicles, plant, equipment and chemical use
• Certificate I in Eco and Conservation Land Management or similar qualification
• Ability to map read to scope job parameters and boundaries etc.
• Ability to interact with clients and industry contacts
• Safety awareness.
• Communications skills.
