Workforce International are partnered with a heavy commercial truck and trailer supplier within the Newcastle area. We are currently seeking an experienced Yard Hand to join the team for an immediate start! The position is fixed term with potential for extension for the right candidate. 

About the Role: 

• 5 Days per week (Mon - Fri)
• 7:30am - 4pm daily 
• $36 per hour + overtime as required 
• Newcastle location 
• The role would suit someone with demonstrated yard hand experience

Duties Include: 

• External washing of trailers 
• External washing and internal grooming of trucks/prime movers
• Driving duties as required (parts pick up/collection, drop off team members to maintenance suppliers, etc) 
• General workshop/yard duties (cleaning and tiding, grounds keeping, etc)

To be Considered for the Role, You Must: 

• Be able to pass a functional assessment which includes a drug and alcohol screen
• Have a c class drivers license (auto/manual) 
• Have reliable transport
• Demonstrated yard hand experience 
• Be reliable and display a great work ethic
• Show initiative and be a team player
